Vantage Peak Advisory first began using Adaptive Planning in 2012. As global vice president of finance, our firm’s principle – Duraid Jwayyed, self-implemented this best-in-class platform and leveraged the functionality to develop a global integrated business planning process. This enabled goal alignment across a global company with divisions located in several continents. We used previously acquired Fortune 100 experience and current technology to drive alignment and a clear/ granular understanding of performance to goals results.
We used this experience to grow within the Workday Adaptive Planning ecosystem over the past 12 years and have successfully led several optimization projects for global mid-market and small businesses at the fraction of the investment and much higher level of industry experience. Our tactical team includes seasoned former executives and senior leaders who have an in- depth understanding of the platforms functionality and know how to include practical functional / industry experience to optimize / align performance at a sales, workforce, operational and finance level.

Case Studies
An entrepreneurial accessories designer was in very advanced negotiations to be acquired by a larger publicly traded firm. This manufacturer outsourced their accounting function and unfortunately the historical financials were deemed insufficient and unreliable by the acquirer’s advisors (big four advisory firm) which put the transaction at risk. Vantage Peak Advisory lead a tactical team and used subledger detail (Purchase Orders, Customer Shipments, etc.) and raw financial data to recreate historical financials and successfully defend the approach and tactics utilized when reviewed by the buyer’s advisory team. The deal successfully closed as a result shortly afterwards. The successful strategy originated from the technical approach developed over the last few decades within several diverse industries.
A large private equity held real estate management firm (+$1 Billion annual revenues) consisting of 4 separate brands recently acquired utilized disparate planning and analysis processes & tools. This state caused a significant challenge to develop an actionable integrated business plan. Vantage Peak Advisory conducted a rapid assessment and developed / implemented a standardized future state planning and analysis process / platform for all segments of the company. This enabled our client to develop robust integrated business plans and utilize balanced scorecards / KPIs to drive ownership and accountability at a very granular level. The client was able to proactively identify drivers of exceptions and respond accordingly. We also worked with the client to develop an internal center of excellence in order to respond to dynamic analytical needs in an autonomous manner.
A mid-market aerospace/ industrial OEM sourcing consulting firm was positioned for global growth. One of the primary objectives in preparation for the expansion was the transformation of the finance team enabling timely / accurate financial reporting and integrated business planning. Vantage Peak Advisory conducted a rapid process assessment on all relevant workstreams (AP, AR, FP&A, Acctg, etc.) and oversaw the implementation of actions items needed to reach future state. We utilized the Agility project management methodology to systematically transform each workstream which resulted in the gradual transformation of the finance function to one that leverage technology and standardized practices that provided for value add insight into the organizations current and future performance.
